Due to discrepancies on origin date of peerage, there are two primary systems for numbering of the Lords of Courcy. Burke's system show this Miles as the 6th Lord, whereas Debrett's (and later George Edward Cokayne aka. G.E.C.) show this Miles as the 1st Lord.

Was a minor at his father's death.

Summoned by the King for service in 1309, 1310 with Nicholas DeCourcy, in 1335

Summoned to Parl. in 1310 and 1339

Assessed the service of 30 knights in 1322

Sherriff of Cork 1329-32.

Summoned for service in France in 1344.
