William De Falaise
General Notes: Discussion in Flanders text that Stogursey lands were initially awarded to William of Falaise after 1066 and eventually transferred to William (I) DeCourcy in her second marriage. If so, properties were unlikely to have been called Stogursey prior to DeCourcy ownership given the root of the word. William married Geva de Burcy, daughter of Serlo de Burcy and Unknown. |
